WHOA!
These are good.
I made whoopie pies. Salty chocolate cookies. Cream cheese frosting. Classic delicious.
Cookies:
1 1/4 cp flour
1/2 cp cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 cp sugar
1/2 cp + 2 tbsp salted butter
1 egg
Frosting:
I only had like 3/4 a pack of cream cheese sooo...
~6 oz crm chz
~5 tbsp butter
~1 1/2 cp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
few drops of milk
You know the drill people... mix the dry ingredients for the cookies.
Then add the egg and butter.
(obligatory raw egg photo)
Form balls with the dough, put them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and squish.
Bake at 375 for 8 minutes.
(OVEN CAM)
Meanwhile, make your crm chz frosting.
Let the cookies cool completely before you attempt to sandwich them.
Put a big glob of frosting in there
And put together like so.
Ooooooohhh my god.
This recipe made 18 cookies, aka 9 pies. And they were BIIIIG pies like big HAMburger cookies. DISCLAIMER: I do not recommend eating more than one at a time. My mom and I both had stomachaches last night. Oh boy.
Looks awesome Janners!
