S'mores Cookies

Graham cracker cookies, marshmellow topping, and chocolate glaze = S’mores cookies! They were really good, but they were messy to make and didn’t taste exactly like “s’mores”, per se.
The cookies alone are WAAAAY good enough to make again, even without the chocolate and marshmellow.

Curry and Polenta

Two really great dishes I made for myself recently.

Yam Chai Muffins

I followed Mickey’s muffin mix recipe for this. Mick, you forgot to say when to add the vanilla. Not that I couldn’t figure it out, I just forgot to.

Peanut Butter Chocolate"Tag-Alongs"

Girl Scouts ain't got nothing on me, fool. Guarantee these are way better than any box of $4.99 cookies you'll buy outside Ralph's.

Strawberry Shortcake

Mickey and I collaborated on this layer cake for Haley's birthday! It was so yummy.

We used this recipe for the cake. It was PERFECT.

Lemon Sugar Cookies with Honey Buttercream

These were gone fast.

I decided to make lemon sugar cookies (using a lemon from my new lemon tree!) and I was gonna sandwich them with vanilla buttercream, when I got the brilliant idea to add honey to the frosting. SO GOOD.

Hollandaise Sauce

While I waited for my bread to bake, I decided to try my hand at Hollandaise Sauce.

Chocolate Banana Bread

This recipe originally was for Nutella Bread, but I didn't have enough nutella. What I DID have was THIS:

No way would I eat this in any other context... but in this bread it turned out BOMB.COM.

Quinoa by Ginoa

I was recently introduced to what some claim to be a legendary Incan miracle food; quinoa (or as Mickey calls it, "living alien pod food").
